Hyundai has officially announced the pricing and specification of the new-generation i30 Tourer, which will go on sale in the UK on July 6.
The new i30 Tourer follows on from the Hatch in offering a high level of standard safety equipment, with Lane Departure Warning System, Forward Collision Warning System, Lane Keep Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking and Hill Start Assist Control featuring on all models. Standard technology and connectivity equipment also feature with all i30 Tourers benefitting from DAB and Bluetooth regardless of trim level.
In addition to a comprehensive Safety and Equipment specification, the i30 Tourer also offers considerable luggage space, with a competitive in class size of 602-litre (VDA) with the rear seats in place, and 1,650-litre (VDA) with the rear seats lowered.
Prices will start from £17,495 for the i30 Tourer S 1.0 T-GDi 120 hp 6 speed manual, which offers 15-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, DAB radio with USB and aux connections, Bluetooth with steering wheel controls, electric front and rear windows and driver seat height adjustment. Tourer specific standard equipment also includes a Cargo Screen and Safety Barrier Net.
From £19,355, the i30 Tourer SE 1.0 T-GDi 120 hp Manual builds on S trim level by offering customers additional equipment including 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps, DAB radio with 5-inch LCD touchscreen, rear parking assist system, rear view camera and leather steering wheel. Externally, SE specification also includes Roof Rails and a Chrome Belt Line. In addition to the 1.0 T-GDi, SE specification also offers the 1.6 CRDi 110 hp engine, with 6-speed manual transmission, or the 1.6 CRDi 136 hp engine with DCT.

Moving further up the range, the i30 Tourer SE Nav 1.0 T-GDi 120 hp Manual at £20,305 continues with SE specification and adds additional enhancements to technology and connectivity, with integrated satellite navigation with 8-inch LCD touchscreen, Bluetooth with voice recognition and wireless phone charging. SE Nav specification is also available with the 1.4 T-GDi 140 hp engine with a 6-speed manual, or 7-speed DCT, the 1.6 CRDi 110 hp engine with a 6-speed manual or the 1.6 CRDi 136PS engine with a 7-speed DCT.
Raising the specification further, the Tourer Premium starts at £22,855 for the 1.4 T-GDi 140 hp Manual. Premium trim includes 17-inch alloy wheels with uprated Michelin tyres, dual zone climate control, electronic parking brake with auto hold function, privacy glass and heated front seats with artificial leather/cloth seat facings. Drivers also benefit from an electrically adjustable seat, a supervision instrument cluster with 4.2-inch display and driver assistance systems including front and rear parking assist system, blind spot detection system with rear cross traffic alert and LED front headlights and rear combination lights. At Premium trim level, the 1.4 T-GDi with a 7-speed DCT, a 1.6 CRDi 110 hp engine with a 6-speed manual and the 1.6 CRDi 136 hp with a 7-speed DCT are also available.
The top of the range Tourer Premium SE enters the range at £24,155 and offers a panoramic sunroof, leather seat facings and a heated steering wheel in addition to the Premium specification. It is available with a 1.4 T-GDi 140 hp with 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT as well as a 1.6 CRDi 110 hp with 6-speed manual, or a 1.6 CRDi 136 hp with 7-speed DCT.
The new i30 Tourer is available in a choice of 10 colours, with Engine Red and Polar White as solid finish, no cost options. Stargazing Blue, Intense Copper, Fiery Red, Platinum Silver, Micron Grey, Phantom Black, Ara Blue and White Sand are all metallic or pearl paint finishes and available for an additional. All specifications have a standard Black interior, with Slate Grey available as a no cost option on Premium SE models.
