Thousands of Ford employees, their families and friends joined a day of celebration at Dunton Technical Centre to mark the facility’s 50th anniversary.
Among the attractions on offer were a Le Mans zone where people could watch a live-stream of the Ford Chip Ganassi Racing team in action, car displays, test track drives, a future technologies exhibition, fairground rides, guide dog demonstrations, live music and much more.
Graham Hoare, director, Ford Global Engineering Operations, said: "The Dunton 50th celebration was such a memorable event. Immersed in the sunshine, with exhibitions, events and entertainment all around, it was amazing to be part of such a special event for our employees and their families. For me it was as much about looking forward to the next 50 years, as it was in celebrating our Dunton role in the last 50 years."
