Ford commercial vehicle sales in Germany continue to grow strongly. In the first half year, Ford of Germany achieved 21,237 vehicle registrations, 4,590 units more than last year, representing a 28 percent improvement. No other manufacturer in the German market has achieved comparable growth.
The top performers in Ford’s commercial vehicle range were the Transit (6,803 units - an increase of 27.6 percent), the Transit Custom (7,404 units a rise of 50.1 percent) and the German pickup market leader, the Ranger, which sold 2,824 units an increase over the same period last year of 8.4 percent.
The Ford sales and service network is one of the largest in Germany with some 250 Ford Transit Centers. At those centres, commercial customers can enjoy extended opening times and a range of other customer-focused benefits.
