Ford has won three important awards in Spain. The Mustang was named Car of the Year in the Schibsted Engine Awards, which are presented annually by the Schibsted media group.
This year, 29 auto brands and 57 models competed to win the title. In addition, the Mustang also won the Best Sports Car award and Ford received the award for Best Online Advertising Campaign.
Jesus Alonso, CEO of Ford Spain, collected the award at a ceremony which took place earlier this month in the Hipodromo de la Zarzuela in Madrid.
The Schibsted Engine Awards are based on the votes from users of the various internet sites operated the publishing group, together with a jury of experts. The 150,000 votes cast by users led to the selection of three finalists from each category.
