Audi scoops two prizes in the "All-wheel Drive Car of 2016" reader survey from car magazine Auto Bild Allrad. The A4 allroad quattro is the winner in the "All-wheel Crossover" category, the A6 won the "All-wheel Car Over 40,000 Euros."
"The double win represents the success story of the quattro drive system and the power of the all-road models - our all-rounder with off-road qualities," said Dr. Stefan Knirsch, Board Member for Technical Development at Audi AG.
With the successor to the lauded A4 allroad quattro, the brand with the four rings is bringing the new quattro drive with ultra technology to series production in combination with the 2.0 TFSI engine. This all-wheel drive has been optimized for efficiency and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of traction and driving dynamics. The car sets standards in its class with its low fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions, especially under everyday driving conditions.
Voting for the "All-Wheel Drive Car of the Year" took place in a total of ten categories. The A4 allroad won with 17.4 percent of all votes, with 10.6 percent of readers choosing the A6.
