Audi set its 63rd consecutive sales record in the U.S. for March with 18,392 vehicles sold, an increase of 7.5% over the same period last year. Year-to-date sales increased 4.6% to 41,960 vehicles sold. March also marked the fifth best sales month ever for the brand in the U.S. market.
Sales were supported by the all-new Audi A4, the best-selling sedan in the Audi lineup, with an increase of 42.4% to 3,226 vehicles sold. The all-new A4 sets industry benchmarks, from semi-autonomous driving features and class-leading horsepower, to standard smartphone integration and the Audi virtual cockpit.
Consumer interest in Audi luxury SUVs continued to climb with both the Q7 and Q3 posting new record highs. Sales of the all-new Q7 soared 92.6% to 3,004 vehicles sold for the month, as buyers responded to the elegant new design, class-leading technology and dynamic performance. Sales of the Q3 rose 18.7% to 1,505 vehicles.
Audi Certified pre-owned vehicle sales also set a new March record, with a 9.5% gain on 4,251 CPO vehicles sold.
