Northern Ireland’s Garage of the Year has expanded by opening a Mitsubishi dealership at its flagship site in Belfast.
SERE Motors joins Mitsubishi in the UK at an exciting time, with the company being named the fastest-growing mainstream car brand in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Established in 1999, SERE recently spent £120,000 renovating its dealership in a prime location in Boucher Road - Belfast’s Motor Mile - ahead of opening with Mitsubishi. The fantastic six-car showroom sits on a 2.2-acre site, which also has a seven-bay workshop.
Last year saw 12 new Mitsubishi dealerships open across the UK and there are more to come in 2016. It was also a successful year for SERE Motors, as it was named Northern Ireland’s Regional Garage of the Year by Motor Codes for the sixth year running.
Statistics from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders show Mitsubishi in the UK has been the fastest-growing mainstream car manufacturer for the past three years. The company saw sales growth in passenger cars of 44 percent in 2015 compared with the previous year, against an overall market up by 6 percent.
