Meet the men driving the WEC Ford GT race car

Marino Franchitti, Andy Priaulx, Stefan Mucke and Olivier Pla

Ford has recently revealed the names of four world-class drivers who will fight for the FIA World Endurance Championship in the all-new GT race car. The news was announced to media at Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Team’s UK base at Greatworth Park, near Silverstone.

Ford’s formidable driver lineup includes Britons Marino Franchitti and Andy Priaulx, Germany’s Stefan Mucke and Frechman Olivier Pla.

"Make no mistake, we are racing to win," said Dave Pericak, Ford Performance global director. "To compete at this level you need the best car, the best team and the best drivers, and we have selected Stefan, Olivier, Andy and Marino to drive the Ford GT to take on the best in the world."
