GMC has announced the 2016 Sierra All Terrain X - a special edition of the All Terrain model, featuring exclusive premium content that enhances off-road capability and an aggressive, monochromatic appearance.
Set to go on sale this spring, the Sierra All Terrain X adopts a sinister appearance that can be applied onto the 4WD crew cab/short box models with SLT trim. It offers a variety of other body colors which will all be combined with black side steps, bed-mounted sport bar, and side mirrors.
In addition to the standard All Terrain content, the "X" package includes high-performance LED headlamps, 18-inch black aluminum wheels, Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac MT tires and performance exhaust system, which bumps output of the 5.3L V8 engine to 365 hp and adds a more aggressive soundtrack.
Just like with the other Sierra All Terrain models, the "X" variant has a four-wheel drive system with Eaton locking rear differential. It also benefits from the Z71 off-road suspension and Rear Park Assist, while on the inside it has an inclinometer and an All-Terrain-logo instrument cluster. This latest special edition from GMC also comes with unique grille with body-color surround and tinted chrome accents, and body-color front and rear bumpers.
