Lamborghini has officially announced the Aventador SV Roadster will make its world debut on August 14 at "The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering".
Unlike the coupe which was offered in 600 units, the Aventador SV Roadster will be even more exclusive as just 500 cars are planned at a price tag higher than its fixed-roof sibling which in United States carried a starting price of $493,069.

It is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine which produces 750 hp at 8,400 rpm and 690 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. This allows the roadster to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and hit a top speed of more than 350 km/h.
