BMW has announced plans to reveal the M2 in October this year, ahead of its debut at the LA Auto Show in November or at the 2016 NAIAS in early 2016.
Set to go on sale in March or April 2016, the M2 will be offered with four colors including Long Beach Blue, Alpine White, Mineral Grey and Black Sapphire with the first one expected to be the official color of the show car.
It will be powered by a 3.0-liter biturbo engine which develops around 370 hp and 465 Nm of torque. The high-performance model can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
The starting price hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the BMW M2 will reportedly start at €54,000.
