To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 3-Series, BMW has introduced the 340i 40th Anniversary Edition in Japan.
Based on the 340i M Sport, the special edition features a Tanzanite Blue exterior with a black grille, satin aluminum accents and 19-inch M light alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin comes with Dakota leather seats, a BMW Individual leather-wrapped dashboard and piano black trim. There's also has heated front seats, a heads-up display and a Harman/Kardon audio system.
Motvation is provided by a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder engine which produces 326 hp and 450 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Limited to just 20 units, the BMW 340i 40th Anniversary Edition will go on sale on October 3 and pricing starts at ¥8,790,000.
