Honda has just introduced the 2016 Odyssey Special Edition that will go on sale on August 4.
Slotted between EX and EX-L trims, the Special Edition has a starting price of $33,375 and features additional standard equipment including a rear entertainment system, a 115V power outlet, SiriusXM satellite radio and a HondaVAC vacuum cleaner which is designed to help families keep the Odyssey's interior neat and clean, and offers performance that "easily surpasses that of a handheld rechargeable vacuum."
Under the hood, the Odyssey Special Edition is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine which produces 248 hp at 5,700 rpm and 338 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission which allows the car to return 19 mpg city / 28 mpg highway / 22 mpg combined.
