Toyota has officially confirmed the next generation Hilux will make its official debut on May 21.
Set to go on sale in Thailand and other Asian markets later this year, the 2016 Hilux will receive LED daytime running lights, chrome door handles and mirror caps, new alloy wheels and wider fenders. Meanwhile, the interior will gain a revised dashboard and a tablet-like touchscreen display.
Under the hood, the 2016 Toyota Hilux will be offered with a new 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine with 150 hp and 167 hp, along with a beefier 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine with 177 hp.
