According to a recent report, Porsche will introduce a hybrid version of the Macan in the near future.
Speaking to Indian Autos Blog at the Geneva Motor Show last month, Porsche President & CEO Matthias Muller confirmed the company is already working on the car. "We’re working on it. We’ll have it in 1 or 2 years," he commented.
Additional information is limited, but the Macan's hybrid system will likely be similar to the one in the Cayenne S E-Hybrid. This system features a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine and an electric motor for a combined output of 416 hp and 590 Nm of torque.
