Mazda has announced the 2016 MX-5 will have a starting price of $24,915 in the United States when it goes on sale this summer.
The 2016 MX-5 will be available in Sport, Club and Grand Touring trim levels. For the first time, a six-speed manual transmission will come standard as well as LED headlights, USB audio input, Bluetooth connectivity, a leather-wrapped shift knob and power door locks.
Under the hood, the US-spec MX-5 will be powered exclusively by a 2.0-liter SkyActiv engine which produces 155 hp and 200 Nm of torque.
