Radical has recently introduced at the Circuit de Barcelona in Spain the new SR8 RSX, which will be launched early next year.
The race car features a composite body and a FIA-compliant chassis. There's also high-performance brakes and lightweight 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the cockpit comes with FIA-certified bucket seats, a high-contrast 7-inch TFT display and integrated WiFi connectivity for data download.
Motivation is provided by a 3.0-liter V8 engine which produces 440 hp and 379 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed paddle-shift transmission that should ensure the 860 kg car has rapid acceleration.
Pre-orders for the SR8 RSX will commence immediately with deliveries in Q1 of 2015. It will retail at £109,950 (excluding VAT), with a wide range of performance and racing options and personalisation available.
