Bentley has recently unveiled the stunning Grand Convertible concept at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Designed to preview the next-generation Azure, the Grand Convertible is described as being the "ultimate expression of British automotive luxury" and the "most sophisticated open-top car ever created by Bentley."
Since the concept is essentially a Mulsanne convertible, it features a retractable soft top and a very familiar design both inside and out. The car seen here has received a Sequin Blue body paint complemented by "liquid metal" accents on the A pillars and hood.
Inside, the cabin comes with diamond quilted leather seats, Sequin Blue accent stitching and acres of wood trim. There's also a Burr Walnut tonneau cover with the "largest piece of wood veneer ever applied to a Bentley."
Motivation is provided by a 6.75-liter V8 engine which develops 530 hp and a maximum torque of 1,100 Nm. The company declined to release detailed specifications, but noted the convertible will deliver "effortless performance to match its unparalleled style."
