The very first production-spec Koenigsegg One:1 has arrived in Germany and caused a computer glitch in this country’s car registration system.
Because the One:1 has exactly 1,341 hp, Germany had to reconfigure their car registration system because translated into kilowatts, the One:1 delivers exactly 1000 kW, while Germany’s registration system only accepts vehicles with kilowatts in the three figure range.
As a small reminder, the One:1 is powered by a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 aluminum engine which produces 1,341 hp and 1,371 Nm of torque. It is linked to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and an electronic differential which could allow the "megacar" to hit a top speed of more than 440 km/h.
Only six cars will be made and all cars have already been sold.
