SsangYong will unveil two new concepts, called the XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure, at the 2014 Paris Motor Show on October 2.
Both are powered by either a 1.6-liter petrol or 1.6-liter diesel engine which meet Euro 6 emission standards, and measure 4,195 mm in length and with a 2,600 mm wheelbase. The XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure are near production ready concepts of the X100 which will go on sale next year.
Based on the company’s development philosophy of "Robust, Specialty and Premium" and design theme of "Nature born - 3 Motion", the XIV (eXciting user-Interface Vehicle) is a B-segment SUV series that has been shown at previous international motor shows over the past four years, the first time beginning at the IAA Frankfurt in 2011.
