The one-off Ferrari F12 SP America developed through the Special Projects division has been recently photographed in the United States.
Commissioned by the CEO of Wegmans, Danny Wegman, the SP America is a restyling of the F12 Berlinetta, which doesn’t look as radical as the F12 TRS, but still differentiates itself. It has new front and rear bumpers, a fastback approach and a triple vented hood that draws inspiration from the legendary 250 GTO.
Under the hood, the SP America features the same naturally-aspirated 6.3-liter V12 engine as the F12 Berlinetta producing 740 hp and 690 Nm of torque. It is mated to an F1-derived dual-clutch transmission which allows the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds before hitting a top speed of 340 km/h.
