Lamborghini has just released a teaser video for the Huracan Super Trofeo, which will be unveiled on August 15 at The Quail in Monterey, California.
Set to compete in next year's Blancpain Super Trofeo Series, the track-only Huracan will retain the same 5.2-liter V10 naturally aspirated engine with 610 hp taken from the road-going version. However, the lighter and more aerodynamic body will make the racing version of the Huracan go faster around corners.
The Huracan Super Trofeo will be raced in all three Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series in Europe, Asia and North America, where it will rub shoulders with the outgoing Gallardo Super Trofeo. However, the two models will compete in different classes.
