In a recent interview, Lamborghini CEO has revealed the company could offer several new variants of the Huracan.
Speaking to Autocar at last weekend’s Pebble Beach Concours event, Stephan Winkelmann said "We need lots of derivatives. Customers expect it and we always need something new to talk about."
First will be a Spyder version, which is expected sometime next year. It will probably be an open-top version of the standard Huracan with no major design changes. Next, a lighter and more extreme Huracan will also eventually be sold.
Final will be a rear-wheel-drive version. As Winkelmann explains "We did it with the Gallardo so it might be an option. We are a four-wheel-drive super-sports car (manufacturer) but why should we not do a rear-drive option?"
