According to 4WheelsNews, Ferrari will introduce the 458 Speciale Spider later this month at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
The 458 Speciale Spider will probably be powered by the same 4.5-liter V8 engine as the coupe producing 605 hp at 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This could allow the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 9.1 seconds and hit a top speed of around 325 km/h.
More details will be revealed on August 17 so leaks could occur several days from now. We expect the 458 Speciale Spider to be offered in a limited edition, just like Ferrari did with the 430 16M Scuderia Spider which was built in only 499 units.
