Cadillac LTS to debut at 2015 New York Auto Show

Cadillac Elmiraj concept

Citing a "high-level source" at Cadillac, Autoblog is reporting the highly-anticipated LTS will be unveiled at the 2015 New York Auto Show which kicks off next April.

The flagship is said to incorporate design cues from the company's Elmiraj concept which features a long hood and a prominent grille. It will ride on the new Omega platform and be equipped with rear-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive could also be optional.

Engine options remain a mystery, but the standard version could use a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine which develops 420 hp and 583 Nm of torque. The Cadillac LTS is set to compete with the BMW 7-Series, Audi A8 and Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
