Mercedes-Benz has announced its best first six month ever in the Vietnam market with more than 1,100 cars delivered to its valued customers, an increase of 70 percent compared to the same period last year. The exclusive motor show of the "Three-pointed star" brand - the 2014 Mercedes-Benz Fascination - was a big contributor to selling in June.
This event gained very positive results: an overwhelming crowd with more visits than last year, 500 test drives and 100 free technical checks. It was also the key contributor to the 242 units sold in June. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz Fascination also successfully conveyed the idea of re-defining "Modern Luxury" via three different themes and product areas: Contemporary luxury, A-volution and Mercedes-AMG.
The C-Class and E-Class are the best-selling models in the first half year with more than 300 sold of each. The S-Class receives very strong response from Vietnamese customers with more than 150 orders which is far above the expected market demand. The S-Class occupies more than 80% share of its segment. Moreover, Mercedes-Benz dominates the premium SUV segment with 300 orders of the GLK, M-Class, GL-Class and G-Class. This record shows that Mercedes-Benz is on a good track to accomplish one of its commitments from beginning of the year: "Outperform the market, once again".
