Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed the S65 AMG Coupe, which will have a starting price of €244,009.50 (VAT included) when it goes on sale towards the end of September.
Already available on order in Germany, the S65 AMG Coupe is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine which produces 630 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h in Europe and 299 km/h in the United States.
Power is sent exclusively to the rear axle via an AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC while the sports Magic Body Control suspension benefits from the already familiar curve tilting function. It features forged wheels in a multi-spoke design, size 8.5 x 20 at the front and 9.5 x 20 at the rear, with 255/40 R 20 and 285/35 R 20 tires.
The list of standard goodies includes a 360-degree camera, Burmester 3D sound system, SPLITVIEW function, emergency call system, six-disc changer, convenience telephony, keyless go system, rear electric sunblind and AMG roof lining trimmed in Nappa leather.
For more money, the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe can be configured with a ceramic high-performance compound brake system which is 20 percent lighter than its conventional counterpart.
