Lexus has just introduced in the United Kingdom the IS 300h Executive Edition, which is designed to appeal to eco-friendly luxury customers.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the Executive Edition comes nicely equipped with dusk-sensing HID headlights, rain-sensing wipers, rear parking sensors and 17-inch alloy wheels. There's also leather seats, dual-zone climate control, cruise control and GPS navigation.
Motivation is provided by a hybridized 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine which creates a combined maximum output of 223 hp. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 201 km/h. In terms of efficiency, it returns 4.4L/100km (64.2 mpg UK or 53.4 mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 103 g/km.
The Lexus IS 300h Executive Edition has a starting price of £29,995.
