To honor the success of the BMW Sports Trophy team in the Super GT series, the German carmaker has launched a special edition of the Z4 in Japan, called the sDrive20i GT Spirit.
Limited to just 60 units, the GT Spirit is based on the sDrive20i and comes with the M Sport package, an Alpine White body, a black kidney grille and 19-inch M lightweight alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the cabin gets M-branded door sill plates, aluminum pedals, a combination of leather and Alcantara with orange accents.
Motivation is provided by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine which produces 184 hp and 270 Nm of torque. When configured with the optional 8-speed sport-automatic gearbox, the sports car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 235 km/h.
