BMW has just unveiled a special edition of the M235i in the Netherlands, called the Track Edition.
Inspired by the M235i Racing, the Track Edition features an M Performance body kit which includes a front splitter, a black grille, revised side skirts and a carbon trunk spoiler. It also has a rear diffuser, a stainless steel sports exhaust system and lightweight 19-inch BMW M Performance wheels with run-flat tires.
Each model comes with a numbered badge. Four exterior colors are available including Mineral Weiss, Mineral Grey, Estoril Blue and Sapphire Black.
Inside, the cabin has aluminum foot pedals, a carbon fiber / Alcantara handbrake lever and an Alcantara-wrapped sport steering wheel with a race display.
Motivation is provided by a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder engine that develops 326 hp and 450 Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission which allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h.
Limited to 12 units, the BMW M235i Track Edition has a starting price of €83,000.
