According to a report from Bloomberg, the 2015 Toyota fuel cell vehicle (FCV) will be called the "Mirai" (Japanese for "future").
The Mirai is an important step forward for zero-emission vehicle technology and won’t require customers to compromise on safety, price or performance. It can travel approximately 482 km on a single fill-up of hydrogen, which takes less than five minutes.
Set to go on sale in Japan in April, the Toyota Mirai has a starting price of approximately ¥7 million ($69,111 or £40,410). It will also be available for sale to customers in the United States and Europe by summer 2015.
