Renault has recently introduced the second generation Sandero five-door hatchback in Brazil.

According to the French carmaker, the 2015 Sandero is basically a rebadged Dacia but come with a slightly improved exterior design with an updated grille, a redesigned front bumper and some chrome accents.

The base Sandero Authentique is powered by a 1.0-liter 16-valve engine producing 80 hp and compatible with ethanol. Meanwhile, Expression and Dynamique trims use a 1.6-liter 8-valve engine developing 98 hp or 106 hp when running on ethanol.

Depending on trim level, the Sandero can feature electric windows and mirrors, leather-wrapped steering wheel, an automatic climate control system, an LG-made Media Nav infotainment system with navigation and support for Bluetooth and USB connections. Other highlights include rear parking sensors, cruise control, front airbags, ABS, EBD, central locking and a split folding rear bench increasing cargo capacity from 320-liter to 1,196-liter.
