Bentley has recently announced plans to showcase the Continental GT3-R at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Based on the track-only Continental GT3, the most dynamic and fastest-accelerating Bentley ever produced is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine which produces 580 hp and 700 Nm of torque. It is linked to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
Thanks to the more power fitted into a lighter body, the GT3-R can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, making it 0.7s quicker than the Continental GT V8 S. Due to the gearbox's shorter gearing, top speed has decreased from 309 km/h to 273 km/h.
Production will limited to just 300 units and all of them will wear a Glacier White paint with two-tone green graphics on the side profile. Order books are already open, with deliveries scheduled for late 2014.
