Land Rover continues to celebrate 25 years of the Discovery with the option for customers to add striking features from the XXV special edition revealed earlier this year. These enhancements are available to order on the 2015 Discovery now with customer deliveries starting from September.
The exterior can be enhanced with the addition of the XXV 20-inch 5-spoke forged alloy wheels with a light silver polished finish, increasing the number of 20-inch wheel styles to four. New body colors also become available, including Montalcino Red, Kaikoura Stone, Aruba and Yulong.
Meanwhile, the cabin comes with two-tone Ebony/Cirrus Windsor leather seats, as well as a Grand Black Lacquer wood, new leather-wrapped steering wheel, a Straight Grained Walnut wood trim and Land Rover InControl Apps, which is introduced into a number of key markets as a customer option to complement the Discovery's existing infotainment system and provide the ultimate for in-car connectivity.
Engine options include a 3.0-liter V6 supercharged gasoline with 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque, along with a 3.0-liter TDV6 diesel with 211 hp and a 3.0-liter SDV6 with 256 hp. All engines feature fuel-stretching Stop/Start technology and work with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.
