2015 BMW X6 with M Sport Package unveiled

2015 BMW X6 M Sport

BMW has recently released the first official images of the 2015 X6 equipped with the M Sport package.

According to the German carmaker, the M Sport version has an aerodynamic body kit which includes a new front bumper, a matte aluminum grille, revised side skirts and body color wheel arches. There's also a rear diffuser insert, chrome exhaust tips, an Adaptive M suspension and 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels.


Inside, the cabin comes with leather / Alcantara sport seats, a sport steering wheel and an anthracite roof liner. Other highlights include an alloy footrest, M-branded door sill plates and aluminum hexagon trim.

As we have reported, the 2015 X6 will be offered at launch with three different engines. The xDrive 50i use a 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine which develops 450 hp and 650 Nm of torque. This allows the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/h.

The xDrive30d is powered by a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder diesel engine with 258 hp and 560 Nm of torque. It enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 230 km/h.

Lastly, the M50d has a tri-turbocharged 3.0-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine that produces 381 hp and 740 Nm of torque. Thanks to the extra oomph, the crossover can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/h.
