Renault has joined forces with outdoor sports and leisure clothing brand Helley Hansen to market the first Captur to feature Extended Grip, a system designed to optimise traction performance whatever the conditions.

According to the French carmaker, the limited-run Captur can be ordered in one of four two-tone finishes: Flamme Red with a black or ivory roof, Etoilé Black with an ivory roof, Cassiopée Grey with a black roof and Ivory with a black roof.

It comes as standard with 17-inch diamond-effect black alloy wheels, exclusive new leather seats as well as Platine Grey front & rear skid plates. Other highlights include the R-Link multimedia system, heated front seats, automatic climate control, electric folding door mirrors, cruise control and fog lights with cornering function.

Under the hood, the model will be configured with any one of the engines currently available for the regular Captur: Energy TCe90, TCe120 with EDC automatic transmission, or Energy dCi90 with manual gearbox or automatic EDC transmission.

The Renault Captur Helley Hansen will go on sale in Europe this June, with deliveries commencing in September.
