Ford has just launched a range-topping ST3 version of its multi-award-winning Fiesta in the United Kingdom where it has a starting price of £19,250.
According to the American carmaker, the Fiesta ST3 builds on the specification of the ST-2 by adding desirable features including keyless entry, Sony DAB radio/CD with navigation system, cruise control, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, power-folding mirrors and an electronic automatic temperature control.
Five exterior colors are available, including Frozen White, Race Red, Panther Black, Spirit Blue and Molten Orange. They are matched to one of two striking interior colour themes (Molten Orange or Smoke Storm), depending on the paint finish chosen. For an extra £250, the model can be equipped with rear parking sensors.
Under the hood, the Fiesta ST3 is powered by 1.6-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine which produces 182 hp and 240 Nm of torque, sent to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 220 km/h. In terms of efficiency, it can return 5.9-liter / 100 km with CO2 emissions of 138 g/km.
