BMW has recently announced the 2015 M4 Convertible will have a starting price of $73,425 when it goes on sale in the United States this summer.
Set to debut next week at the New York Auto Show, the M4 Convertible will cost $8,300 more than the M4 Coupe which is priced at $65,125. The most noticeable difference is the power retractable hard top which can be lowered in 20 seconds at speeds up to 18 km/h.
Under the hood, the M4 Convertible is powered by a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine which produces 425 hp and 550 Nm of torque. When equipped with the optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission, the car can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 4.2 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250 km.
