Jaguar has recently introduced a special edition of the XK at the 2014 New York Auto Show, named the Final Fifty Edition.
Set to go on sale exclusively in the United States this fall, the Final Fifty Edition is based on the XKR and will be limited to 25 coupes and 25 convertibles inspired by the special edition of the iconic E-Type in 1974.
It has an Ultimate Black exterior with the convertible featuring a black top. Styling is enhanced by an XKR-S GT hood and 20-inch forged wheels. The model will also be equipped with the Dynamic and Performance packages which add special side sills, a rear diffuser, a larger rear wing and an upgraded Adaptive Dynamics suspension system.
Inside, the cabin comes equipped with Performance seats in Diamond Sewn stitch pattern, a Jet Suedecloth steering wheel and an inscribed door sill tread plate. There's also a Bowers & Wilkins audio system and a special badge featuring the signature of Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum.
Under the hood, the XK Final Fifty Edition is powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine which produces 510 hp and 624 Nm of torque. This will allow the sports car to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 4.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 280 km/h.
