Porsche and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) have signed an agreement to open a Porsche Experience Center at Le Mans.

Slated to open in early 2015, the new center will be spread over more than 3,000m2 and will comprise:
  • An adapted version of the White House circuit (a 2.9 km layout using part of the Le Mans 24-hour track), together with various driving experience modules
  • Function venues and a restaurant
  • A reception area for all the events at the circuit, in particular the 24 Hours of Le Mans, including an area with a view overlooking the track
  • A dedicated driving training center
  • A permanent exhibition of current and classic Porsche vehicles
  • A Porsche Service Center
  • A "Porsche Exclusive" custom tailoring area
  • A Driver’s Selection by Porsche Design shop

The Experience Center will also offer a full range of driving experiences and sensations to Porsche owners, future clients and enthusiasts.

In a statement, Porsche France Managing Director Marc Ouayoun said "Le Mans is a unique setting for Porsche. The 24 Hours of Le Mans is a legendary challenge in motorsport that has played an important part in Porsche’s history. Opening a Porsche Experience Center here holds a special meaning for us. Porsche’s return to LMP1 has opened up great prospects for the future. The Center will be a fantastic venue for all Porsche enthusiasts to come and share their passion. Our clients will also be able to test drive the model they are hoping to buy with their various chosen options. It’s never easy to buy a car without trying it out. The new Center will make this possible."
