Next Volkswagen Tiguan, Crafter & Porsche Panamera confirmed for 2016

German carmaker Volkswagen has recently revealed some new details about their several upcoming models.

First up, the Crafter successor, which it is expected to be developed with MAN instead of Mercedes, will be built from 2016 at a new plant in Wrzesnia, Poland. This plant will create at least 2,300 new jobs.

Next, the next-generation Tiguan will be assembled in Hanover in addition to Wolfsburg from 2016. The model will be built on the basis of the Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB).

Lastly, the next-generation Porsche Panamera will be produced in Leipzig starting in 2016. It is expected to ride on the MSB platform and feature newly developed 6- and 8-cylinder engines.
