After a few years of absence, Koenigsegg has officially announced plans to return to the United States with the assistance of Manhattan Motorcars in New York City.
According to the Swedish supercar maker, Manhattan Motorcars will become the brand's official dealer for the northeastern United States and will display the Agera R at next month's New York Motor Show.
In a statement, Christian von Koenigsegg, CEO & Founder Koenigsegg Automotive AB, said "We are truly delighted by the opportunity to work with such a passionate and well respected dealer like Manhattan Motorcars. We will do our outmost to support Manhattan Motorcars in the best possible way and are looking forward to a fruitful long-term relationship."
As a small reminder, the Agera R is capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds thanks to a 5.0-liter V8 engine which produces 1,140 hp at 7,100 rpm and 1,200 Nm of torque at 4,100 rpm. Top speed is reached more than 390 km/h.
