Ford Focus ST Diesel confirmed with 182 hp

Ford Focus facelift

Ford COO Mark Fields has recently confirmed the company will offer a diesel version of the Focus ST for the first time.

According to Auto Express, the model will be powered by a 2.0-liter TDCi engine which produces 182 hp. This could allow the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8 seconds and have CO2 emissions of 114 g/km.

In addition, the petrol engine will also continue to be offered and the car is expected to use a 2.0-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder that develops 250 hp and 360 Nm of torque.

Both variants will go on sale in the UK this summer and feature revised styling (inside and out), an improved steering system, along with new wheels and tires.
