Bentley working on entry-level model, could arrive by 2020

Continental GT

In a recent interview, Bentley Sales and Marking Director Kevin Rose has revealed the company is considering a fifth showroom model which could arrive before the end of the decade.

Speaking to Autocar, Rose said "It’s hard to be certain what the market will demand that far into the future. At the moment, our line of thinking is for a smaller car. But smaller doesn’t necessarily mean cheaper."

The British magazine says Bentley could build an entry-level model that would slot below the Continental GT but still cost more than £100,000. Meanwhile, the company is also rumored to be considering a model which is even more expensive than the Mulsanne to compete with the Rolls-Royce Phantom.
