Nissan has recently announced the 2015 GT-R Nismo will have a starting price of $149,990 - excluding a $1,595 destination and handling fee - when it goes on sale in the United States on July 31.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the GT-R Nismo is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine which produces 600 hp and 651 Nm of torque, with the power being sent to the four wheels via a six-speed sequential dual-clutch transmission. It's the fastest GT-R ever built and the holder of the volume production car lap record at the Nürburgring with a time of 7:08.679.
The model will be available in five exterior colors (Solid Red, Jet Black, Super Silver, Pearl White and Matte Gray) and comes with LED headlights, racing-style Recaro seats, a large red-accented center-mounted tachometer and a multi-function display. There's also a specially designed 11-speaker Bose sound system which provides sound quality suitable for a supercar.
