A rare 1958 BMW 507 Series II Roadster, with only 17,563 km on the odometer, went under the hammer and was sold for a record $2.4 million at this year’s Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.
The car was offered with a fully original engine, verified by BMW classic, and all of its parts are in original condition.
Only 252 units were ever built and this 507 Roadster is powered by a 3,168cc V8 engine producing 145 hp. It is fitted with dual carburetors and hooked up to a 4-speed manual transmission.
