Suzuki has just introduced a special edition of the Swift in the United Kingdom, called the SZ-L which will be limited to 500 units.
Based on the mid-range SZ3 but with additional equipment and features, the model comes equipped as standard with seven airbags, ESP, air conditioning, USB port, Bluetooth, as well as LED daytime running lights and cruise control borrowed from the SZ4 version.
The Swift SZ-L is offered with a two-tone metallic paintwork available in either Boost Blue or Cosmic Black body colors with contrasting Cool White roof, rear spoiler and door mirrors. Inside, the cabin features silver stitching on the steering wheel, gear gaiter and seats which now have a unique fabric design.
Motivation is provided by a 1.2-liter Dual VVT engine which develops 94 hp. This unit is one of the most powerful in its class, but offers low CO2 emissions of just 116 g/km and returns 5-liter / 100 km (47 mpg US or 56.5 mpg UK) on the combined cycle.
The Suzuki Swift SZ-L will go on sale on March 1 and is available on the VAT free promotion until March 31 at £10,899 for the three-door model and £11,316 for the five-door model.
