British carmaker Morgan has announced plans to introduce a more powerful variant of the Plus 4 at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next week.
The car is expected to retain a four-cylinder engine under its hood but specifications have not been released. A company spokesman said it will be "by far the most powerful Plus 4 ever."
The current Plus 4 is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Ford Duratec engine which produces 145 hp and 190 Nm of torque. It is mated to a Mazda-derived five-speed manual transmission that allows the 877 kg two-seater to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 190 km/h.
