McLaren 650S performance specs and pricing revealed

McLaren has officially revealed pricing and performance specs for the 650S, ahead of ahead of its global debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
According to the British supercar maker, the 650S Coupe will have a starting price of £195,250 while the 650S Spider costs £215,250. Sales are scheduled to commence later this year.
Power comes from a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine which develops 650 hp. This allows the 650S Coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 8.4 seconds and reach 0-300 km/h in 25.4 seconds. The standing quarter mile (400 m) takes 10.5 seconds and top speed is 333 km/h. This performance puts the 650S a full second quicker than the iconic F1 to 200 km/h and 0.6 seconds faster over the standing quarter mile.
In terms of efficiency, the 650S can return 11.7-liter / 100 km (20.1 mpg US or 24.2 mpg UK) on the EU cycle, with corresponding CO2 emissions of 275 g/km, making it one of the most efficient models in class.
