A new report is indicating that Maserati will introduce at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show a GT concept, which is designed to preview the company's entry-level sports car.
Set to compete with the Jaguar F-Type and Porsche 911, the car could be powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 which develops 410 hp as well as a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine that produces 530 hp.
The Italian carmaker has already confirmed the production model will be called the Gran Sport and is expected to go on sale in 2016. It will cost approximately €80,000 and ride on a shortened version of the platform which underpins the Quattroporte and Ghibli.
